About the business

Vetta Productions is a team of experienced marketers, designers and content creators based in Townsville’s CBD, North Queensland. Our team works with a variety of clients to plan and realise their vision, whether it be to create targeted content for a kickass campaign, craft a visual story to trigger talk or reimagine branding and positioning. We have a team of creatives specialising in video, design and photography, with marketers and a creative strategist rounding off the team. About the role

You will be an experienced graphic designer who is adept in conceptualising, crafting and delivering high quality print and digital content. You will work with our Creative Directors in the graphic design space, both of which have a combined 30 years of experience in an agency setting. In addition to designing you will assist in the creation and rolling out of campaigns (including caption writing) with our Brand Manager. You will ensure all projects are held to a high standard and delivered on time. In this role you will be encouraged to push the creative boundaries and be open to experimenting with concepts and creativity – as that’s where the magic happens!

Essential skills and experience

  • Create new and original designs from scratch or amend previous artwork for brands based on client specification, needs and brand image.
  • Take direction from the Creative Directors and assist other team members with graphic design, photography (retouching) and administration tasks as requested.
  • Supervise projects to ensure that all materials ordered arrive upon agreed time and are in good shape to obtain maximum results.
  • Work collaboratively with in-house and contracted team members.
  • Contribute to project discussions to maximize creativity and excellence in performance and delivery.
  • Assist with in-house communications and enquiries on all digital channels, including email, online and social media.
  • Create, file and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, and fonts, which are needed for record keeping and referencing.
  • A friendly and outgoing, professional personality and a passion for collaboration and sharing of ideas.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Confident in using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work hard and manage your time to meet deadlines.


  • On-going social media management of retainer clients and a selection of regular clients.
  • Assist in the development of a set of tiered marketing tools and templates (e.g. Trello SMM boards, SMM cheatsheets).
  • Experience in writing copy for marketing materials will be highly regarded.
  • Implement marketing and communications plans that align with a brand’s goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of communications strategies and best practices.
